What's happening in the penguin flock?

last update: Apr 10, 2008 09:40 PM

This week a special report: one of our regular staff, Jeroen, has recently travelled to Antarctica, and has kept a weblog for us!  And if that's not enough, Brendon has put online some of his amazing pictures of Antarctica in his picture gallery.

In the news this week a tragic event: a crash of a helicopter resulting in the death of three people. Also in the news: Scientists looking into the melting of the artic ice caps  and Indian Navy team close to the North Pole. More news can be found in the News Section.

For the kids we've found some funny games (not just for kids, mind you!). And if you're planning on writing a paper on Antarctica or the North Pole, check out out our educational section

. Loads of stuff to impress your classmates or your teacher with!

More entertainment: Funny movies, a great selection of webcams and beautiful postcards

to send your friends!

And lastly: a plea. Help us save the poles. You've read the news, heard the stories, seen the pictures. Now act! Donate, write about the Arctic or Antarctic life, etc. Help us fill the site with content, be part of our community!
