South Korea will attend SAO meeting
South Korea will send a delegation to attend the Senior Arctic Officials' Meeting of the Arctic Council, which will beheld this week in Kautokeino, Norway.
The delegation was invited by the Arctic Council and the Korean Government will take this oppotunity to discuss Korea's joining the Arctic Council as an observer, and make a presentation under the title of "Korea and the North Pole."
The official application was submitted in May of this year and entrance will be decided at the Ministerial Meeting in April 2009.
