Indian Navy team close to North Pole

The Indian Navy team, consisting of 10 members, are in the process to become the first Indians to have skied to both the North Pole and Antarctica.
The team is just 40 km away from their goal which they plan to reach during the night of April 9th/10th.
A defense spokesman said; 'The team has set off from Longyear-byen (near North pole) braving the high velocity wind and drifting ice. But they are in high spirit.'
