Science
An SFRI Distributed Data System, controlled via an industrial grade 486 computer and interfaced to wide range of navigational, meteorological and winch sensors, displays these parameters in all scientific spaces and the bridge. Data are up-dated once per second, and mean values and standard deviation logged once per minute. Neil Brown CTD, General Oceanics 12 x 8 litre rosette, Seacat Thermosalinograph, Expendable Bathythermograph.
