  Park which will examine the following issues\: The effects of global 
 warming are reflected with greatest intensity in the polar regions. Th
 e Arctic\, once politically and literally frozen\, is melting at a pac
 e much faster than envisaged. What are the implications for energy and
  other resource supplies\, the environment and fishing\, transport and
  shipping? How can key countries and stakeholders\, including the scie
 ntific community\, work together to address these? What are the approp
 riate governance institutions and mechanisms that will be needed?
