The Last Polar Bear:  Facing the Truth of a Warming World

June 28-Dec. 31, 2008

Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture

Seattle, Washington, United States

For ten years, wildlife photographer Steven Kazlowski literally tracked the plight of the polar bear across its rapidly shrinking Arctic habitat.  See over 50 heartwarming photographs of this mysterious creature in images that sharply address global warming and its emerging effects on Arctic wildlife.

Created in partnership with Braided River Books, a conservation imprint of the Mountaineers Books.
