9th International Conference and Exhibition for Oil and Gas Resources Development of the Russian Arctic and CIS Continental Shelf

Since 1993 the International Conferences and Exhibitions RAO/CIS Offshore on the continental shelf resources development have been holding in St.Petersburg. The holding of the event was initiated by Russian government. The conference and exhibition have got the worldwide recognition and attract participation of the world class specialists with an experience in the broad area (geology, field exploration, oil and gas fields development, environment protection) as well as politicians and journalists.

By the end of the XX century the available onshore oil and gas resources have been almost depleted. That is why the oil and gas activity is focused on the resources of the continental shelf.
The Russian shelf is the largest in the world, 85% of which is located in the Arctic sector. The oil and gas resources of the continental shelf and Russian Arctic are the main reserve of the stable oil and gas industry development in the 21st century.
