Maritime Museum offers various displays related to oceans, ship, boats and ports. The icebreaker "FUJI" was a primary observation ship in Japan's exploration of the Antarctic. Today it is moored at Nagoya Port to serve as the Antarctic Museum.

This museum focuses on the Native Peoples of the North who live in both Eurasia and America. These Peoples inhabit an area that stretches for more than sixteen thousands kilometers from east to west.

The Museum is named after the Japanese Antarctic explorer Nobu Shirase No Website for the museum, but it is located in Nikaho (Akita, Japan). Has no website.
