Colour/Body: Very similar to the Grey-crowned Rosy-finch but the head is overall dark grey, rather than showing a distinct dark forehead. The nape is pale grey with a rosy tinge. The remaining plumage is as the Grey-crowned Rosy-finch, but it is washed silver on the underparts and upperwings
